PONTIAC TRANS AM WITH W72 PACKAGE! CLEAN CALIFORNIA CAR!!

This 1979 Pontiac Trans Am is a very clean example that was built and delivered in California and it shows! The last 2 owners drove this car only on nice days and always kept it stored inside. From the research we did this is a Z Code Car which is a 400 V8 with 4 Barrel Carb. It also has the W72 package which is a T-Top Trans Am and it has the 4 Speed Manual Transmission. According to our research it is one of 2,917 cars. We have pictures of the Vin and Trim tag so please do your homework. According to the Trim Tag the car was originally Gold and it was repainted black some years ago. The paint is very nice with no signs of the original gold paint to be found.

The engine is the 400 V8 and it is believed to be the original. It has a mild rebuild with a little bigger Cam. It runs excellent! The 4 Speed Transmission shifts smooth. Other than the bigger Cam they left it pretty original as far as the intake, carb, and distributor is concerned. It does have headers and dual exhaust. The body is extremely solid and we found no rust or evidence of rust repair anywhere on this car as you would expect from a California vehicle. The T-Tops and seals are in excellent condition and it has the original snowflake wheels and shaker hood with emblems. We can't stress enough how straight the body on this car is. The interior appears to be original and it is in great shape. Even the Carpet and Dash are very nice. This is not a 100 Point Show Car, but it is a clean and straight very nice driver. There will be some touched up stone chips and the like.

This car runs down the road excellent and is actually very fast. Whoever rebuilt the engine did it right and it is a blast to drive. All of the lights, blinkers, gauges, wipers are working.
