1986 CHEVROLET D30/CUCV M1008 MILITARY PICKUP TRUCK!! 6.2L DIESEL.

This 1986 Chevy D30 CUCV M1008 Military Truck is a really clean 1 1/4 Ton truck. These are getting harder and harder to find in really nice condition like this. When this truck was retired it went through the Military rebuild process in 2013 that included installing a new engine. We are unsure of the mileage at that time, but it has not had very many miles since being done. The body on this truck is super clean with no evidence of rust or rust repair anywhere. The Undercarriage does have some surface rust on the bare metal parts but you can still see the factory chalk markings on the frame. It is painted Military Camo which still looks great and it has the original Military front and rear bumpers.

The interior is all original and still in great condition. The seat, floor mat, and door panels are all original nd nice. The seat is in surprisingly great condition. The original dash had some cracking so there is a a cover on it. The headlights, brake lights, tail lights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work and the heat, horn and wipers work.

mechanically this truck is top notch!! The engine is the Diesel 6.2L V8 that runs awesome. As detailed previously, the engine was replaced by the military and you can see it still looks new. It was a completely new system. Everything still looks new including injectors, injection pump, and fuel pump. This truck runs amazing. The transmission is the Turbo 400 Automatic that shifts nice and it is mated to the np208 transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. It has a Corporate 14 Bolt Rear Axle with 4.56 gears and a Detroit Locker. The Front Axle is a Dana 60 Kingpin with 4.56 gears. It also has newer front and rear driveshafts. This is all sitting on an original set of Steel Wheels with 265/70/16 BFG All Terrain Tires. Really cool truck!!
