RUST FREE 1996 FORD F-250 XLT SUPERCAB SHORT BOX FROM PACIFIC NW!
Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com
This 1996 Ford F-250 XLT Supercab is a rust free short box pickup that spent its life in the state of Washington. The last owner had this truck for the last 13 + years and kept it stored indoors and well maintained. These OBS truck SuperCabs with the short box are getting very hard to find especially in this condition. This is a great looking truck with a great color combination! The body is clean and straight. The Royal Blue Metallic and Indigo Blue Metallic paint appears to be all original and it looks excellent!! All of the chrome and trim is in excellent original condition is also in excellent original condition. The underside of this truck is super clean and there are no rust issues with this truck.
The interior is also really nice. This was obviously never a work truck based on the condition. The seats, carpet, headliner, door panels, dash, and dash bezel are all original and really nice. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. This truck has tilt wheel and working cruise control. It has working power windows and locks. The horn and windshield wipers work. The heat and AC are also working in this truck.
Mechanically this truck is excellent. The engine is the original 7.5L 460 V8 that runs strong with no issues or red flags that we found. It appears to be totally stock. It has the E40D Automatic Transmission that shifts nice. It is mated to the Borg Warner manual shift transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a Ford 10.5 with 4.10 gears and a factory limited slip. The front axle is a Dana 44 TTB with 4.10 gears. This is all sitting on a really nice set of factory aluminum wheels with 265/75/16 All terrain Tires. This is a beautiful truck!!
