CLEAN, MOSTLY ORIGINAL 1985 GMC SIERRA 1500 FROM OREGON. COOL SQUAREBODY!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1985 GMC Sierra 1500 is a very original, very clean squarebody that spent its life in Oregon. We were told the miles are original and we believe it based on the condition. The body is clean and straight. It is still sporting its original colors of Indian Bronze Metallic and White. The Indian Bronze paint is original and shined up nicely with some patina. The White paint was redone because of some fading and stone chips. The paint all looks great. The bodyside moldings were replaced when they repainted the white paint. The rest of the chrome and trim is original and looks nice. There are all new lights lenses all around because the originals were faded. It has LED headlights. The underside of this truck is super clean and we found no rust issues with this truck.

The interior is nice. It has a new rubber floor mat and new dash cover. The seat, door panels, and dash bezel are all original. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. The horn, windshield wipers, and heat work. This truck still has the factory stereo but we could not get any stations to come in (it does power on).

Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives great! The engine was originally a 305 V8 from the factory, but it was replaced with a 5.7L 350 V8 by the last owner. We did not get a receipt but it appears to be a crate or rebuild based on the stickers that are on it. It has a Quadrajet Carb, HEI ignition, and it has a very factory appearance under the hood. The transmission is the sm465 4 Speed manual that shifts great with a strong clutch. It is mated to the np208 transfer case and the4WD works like it should. It has a 10 Bolt rear axle with 3.08 gears and a 10 Bolt front axle with 3.08 gears. This is all sitting on a nice set of aluminum wheels with 31 Inch all terrain tires.
