DUAL PURPOSE BUILT 1977 JEEP CJ7. GREAT ON STREET AND OFF ROAD!

This is a very nice jeep. It was built to be able to drive 70 on the interstate and go anywhere you would like off road. It has seen many more on road miles than off. This was a full frame off restoration several years ago and recently was totally gone through again and refreshed. There really are too many modifications to list but I will try. This jeep was originally built by the president of one of the off road clubs in Colorado. There was a lot of time, money and thought that went into the build.

The body is in great shape. It is a fiberglass tub with a steal front clip. It was recently stripped down, epoxy primed and painted Ford Grabber Blue. Paint looks really nice. There is no rust on this jeep anywhere that I have seen. Te tub is in great shape, no cracks or issues. The frame was reedit free when the process started and it was reworked to make stronger than stock. The rock ski's are tied into the frame So everything is solid. Has custom front and rear bumpers the front is a winch bumper with a smittybuilt 9500lb winch. The rear buner has a drop down tire holder and is also an air tank for the onboard air system. Soft top is in good used shape everything works with the exception of the passenger side door zipper.

The interior is very clean. Has a roll cage that is tied into the frame in 6 spots. Has newer Bestop seats front and rear, rear is a fold and tumble. There are 4 point harnesses in the front and rear. Nice center console with extra lights and outlets. Complete set of aftermarket gauges, wired winch control, cb radio, and tilt wheel.

The engine is a very nicely built AMC 360. It has a mils cam, edelbrock aluminum intake, msd atomic fuel injection system, full msd ignition system, aluminum radiator and more. The engine runs very strong and has been totally reliable. It hold great oil pressure and has never overheated on me. The transmission is a T18 that is mated to a dana 300 twinstick transferase. Has new custom front and rear drivelines. Rear axle is a dana 44 that has 4.27 gears and a detroit locker and GM disc brakes. Front is also a dana 44 wth 4.27 gears and a detroit locker. It has gm knuckles with disc brakes and a high steer kit. All stainless braided brake lines. New psc power steering gearbox with extra frame brace. Has nice hydraulic emergency brake setup. Everything is tucked up nice and high to get optimal ground clearance. Suspension is a custom bring over lift with a front shale reversal and custom alcan springs. New rancho shocks all around fronts are adjustable. Tires are Goodyear MTR 37x 12.50 xr15. They are in great shape.

This jeep does amazing both on and off road. It handles nice at higher speeds. It has been my personal rig for the last 4 years and it has been very reliable. It starts immediately in any weather with the fuel injection and has really as much power as you could need.
