1983 JEEP CJ-8 SCRAMBLER. RESTORED, RUST FREE JEEP!

This 1983 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler is restored and really nice. It spent most of its life in California and it underwent a frame off restoration at some point and it is still in excellent condition. It has obviously been well taken care of since being restored. They added some very nice upgrades like adding a Fuel Injected 4.0L I6 engine, lift, and other things. It runs and drives great!

The all steel body on this Scrambler is in excellent condition and there is no evidence of rust anywhere. When it was restored (date unknown) it was painted Ferrari yellow and it was done right. The paint still looks excellent and the body is straight. The underside is also in very nice condition as you can see from our photos on our website. It comes with a newer Full Soft Top and also includes the original half cab hard top and bulkhead. They also added front & rear aftermarket bumpers and Poison Spyder Rock Guards. This gives this Jeep a tough look. There is also a Hi-Lift Jack that comes with the Jeep that is ready to be installed. The interior is really nice and clean. Seats are in excellent shape. It has a Tuffy Center Console, family roll bar, and the entire floor was professionally lined. Just an FYI, stock tach is working with the Fuel Injected Engine and Temp Gauge is aftermarket as you can see in pics.

This Jeep is wonderful to drive with the upgraded 4.0L Inline 6 Fuel Injected Engine that came out of a TJ. It was professionally installed (have receipts) and it looks factory. Other than the Borla header it appears to be all stock and runs excellent. They really did a very nice job on the swap. This CJ has the 5 Speed Manual Transmission with a new clutch in 2017 (have receipt). They also resealed the Transfer Case at that time. The lift is a 4 Inch rancho with reversible shackles in the front. It includes new shocks and they also did brake lines and body bushings. This Jeep has just the right lift, tire size to give it an aggressive look and still have it drive and track really nice.
