VERY COOL 1970 FORD F250 HIGHBOY. PATINA TRUCK. SELECTIVELY RESTORED.

This 1970 Ford F250 Highboy is a very cool truck. It was selectively restored. They left the original body alone with, obviously, a lot of patina showing. This is a very cool, unique, and original Ford Highboy. This truck went through a pretty in depth restoration and they wanted to leave the body alone so it would look like a cool original truck, so they decided not to paint it. The color is Reef Aqua.
We love the look and it is original paint! They did restore the interior, underside, and engine. 68-72 Highboys are rare and hard to come buy. This truck was sold new in Kansas and spent its life there. From what we can tell this is an all original body with original paint and of course the Patina. The body is very straight and the chrome, grille, and bumpers are still in good shape as well. The underside was cleaned and painted to preserve it. The interior is nice and very stock looking with the exception of the seat cover. All of the gauges work and all of the lights and blinkers work. It still has the original radio which does not work and the horn is inop as well. The seat was redone in real cowhide which is pretty cool. They also added new door panels and new rubber floor mat.

Mechanically this truck is great! It has a built 390 V8 in it that runs excellent. The engine was bored .30 over and they added a nice cam to it. They also added a 428 Cobra Jet Intake, MSD Ignition, Holley 4-Barrel carb. This engine has great power and is strong. The Headers with dual exhaust really sounds nice on this truck!! The transmission is a NP435 4 Speed Transmission and it shifts nice. Transfer Case is a Dana 24 and the Front Axle is a DANA 44 with Rear Axle being a DANA 60. Door Tag state 4.10 Gears which based on our test drive seems right. The Oversize Military Tires help with the gearing. The brake system was totally gone through when restored. They are not Power, but is to does come with a booster to convert to Power Braskes. It also has new shocks on all 4 corners. The tires are Vintage Style Military Tires which look really cool. They don't ride as nice as regular off road, but you can't beat the look. Obviously they are not considered a High Speed Tire so around 50 MPH you do get a little shake. Other that that the truck runs and drives very nice.
