RESTORED 1970 FORD F250 HIGHBOY. CALIFORNIA TRUCK!

This 1970 Ford F250 Highboy is a beautiful truck that started its life in California as a Forestry truck, then sold to a private party in 2018 before it was brought to Oklahoma and was restored by the last owner. Because it was a Forestry truck, the miles are supposed to be original, but we were not provided documentation to prove it. Based on the frame and floors I would guess the miles are original, but you be the judge of that. Regardless, it is a beautiful truck!!! The truck is very tight and drives amazing....we love the color!! The body is excellent and very straight. It appears to have all the original metal and we found no evidence of any rust or rust repair on the outside and the underside. The original color of this truck was chrome yellow and the new color is a shade of yellow as well, but we do not know the factory color name for it. The paint is excellent and looks so nice. The truck looks like it was taken apart when painted and it was definitely done professionally. The underside of the truck is super clean and really nice as well. It was painted black and looks fantastic! The front has a winch bumper with a Chelsea PTO Winch. The interior of this Highboy looks excellent and looks stock. It even has the original radio in it. The truck is mostly original on the inside with the exception of the seat cover, new headliner, new floor mat, and new door seals which also supports the low mileage. The original dash pad is near perfect.

Mechanically this truck is top notch. Being a Forest Service Truck it was very well maintained over the years. The 360 V8 engine is believed to be the original engine and it looks to be bone stock with the exception of the headers and dual exhaust. The engine starts easy and runs great with no red flags. As stated earlier this truck really is a pleasure to drive. The transmission is the NP435 4 Speed manual that shifts really nice and it is mated to the DANA 24 Transfer Case. The 4WD system works as it should. The rear axle is a DANA 60 with 4.10 Gears and the Front Axle is a DANA 44 with 4.10 Gears. The brake system was gone through so the brakes are newer and it has a new set of rims and tires. Everything is working on this truck and it is ready to roll.
