This 1968 GMC K10 Short-Box Pickup is a real short box 4WD and was frame-off restored in 2018. This truck is excellent in every way and is a very rare truck to find. This truck was a labor of love for the last owner and it shows in the quality of the restoration. It took him 5-6 years to complete and the miles showing on the odometer are since completion. It is very well sorted and we have a folder full of receipts for the work done including the engine rebuild. Everything on this truck appears to be new or rebuilt.

The body is extremely clean and straight. We found no evidence of rust or patches and because it was a lifelong California truck the metal looks to be all original with the exception of the tailgate. The Victory Red paint was applied in 2018 and looks amazing. It was acid dipped before being painted. The truck was obviously taken apart when painted and they installed new window and door seals when it was put back together. All of the chrome and stainless is in excellent condition. It definitely looks like a show truck but was made to be driven.

The interior was also restored and is beautiful. The inside was also painted and then they added new floor mat, new recovered seat, new door panels, new steering wheel, new sills, new dash pad, and new dash bezel. They added an in dash tach and all of the lights, gauges, wipers, heat are working. Horn was inop. The dash is original and uncut and will need a radio if you desire. Just a beautiful clean interior.

Mechanically this truck is rock solid and everything has been gone through. The 350 V8 was rebuilt with a mild cam and runs exc ellent. (Have Receipt) They added an aluminum intake, Holley Carb, Headers with 3 Inch dual Flowmaster Exhaust and it sound great! This truck also has power steering and power 4 wheel disc brakes. Transmission is the SM 465 with a np205 transfer case. The axles are 3/4 Ton with 3.73 Gears. Rear axle is Corporate 14 Bolt and Front Axle is a Dana 44. It has a nice 4 Inch Lift kit with dual shocks in the front. The brakes have been completely gone through and the lines are stainless steel which is a nice touch. It is sitting on new Pro Comp Rims and it also has Pro Comp 33 Inch tires.

This truck clearly was a quality build and our test drive showed an excellent driving truck that drove down the road straight and was tight. We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures are never touched up or photoshopped. What you see is an accurate representation of the vehicle. We take consistent pictures and show you everything so you can get a true representation of the vehicle.
