VERY COOL, RESTORED, 1945 FORD PICKUP HOT ROD! SUPER CLEAN!

This 1945 Ford Pickup is one cool truck! The backstory on it is that it used to be a military truck (no documents to prove it). The last owner had it completely restored with no expense spared and it was his baby. Only a little more than 3,000 miles on the build. He made it into a cool little street/hot rod and it has a great look and stance. In fact, his profession was a car and truck restoration business so you know this was done right. This was a project he did for himself for retirement...unfortunately health issues forced him to sell. There are many modifications on this build, too many to list, but we will do our best. It runs and drives amazing! This was a total frame off restoration and the body is all steel except for the running boards which are fibreglass. The metal is believed to be mostly, if not all, Ford Sheet Metal. The Metallic Black paint looks so cool with the low key pinstriping in Burgundy and the chrome was all redone and looks great! The Bed is Oak with Stainless Strips and is excellent. The interior was also very well done and looks fantastic! It has the original seat which was recovered and the original dash and instrument panel which was restored. It has custom door panels, new headliner, tilt wheel, and electric wiper. All gauges, lights, heater, wiper are working and it has a cool floor shifter as well. It has an old school look with a modern feel.

Mechanically this truck is awesome!! It has a mildly built Ford 302 V8 that runs really strong and smooth. It has an Edelbrock Aluminum Intake, Edelbrock carb, and mallory Electronic Ignition. They added Ceramic Coated headers with Dual Exhaust and it sounds really sweet. Other nice touches include Aluminum Water Pump, Aluminum Radiator, and Aluminum Pulleys. Rear Axle is a Ford 9 Inch and it has Rack and Pinion Power Steering so it drives and steers really nice. He also put on 4-Wheel Power Disc Brakes. The Front Suspension is is Mustang II with Coils and Shocks and the rear suspension is 4 Link with Coil Overs. Just a nice setup all around. This is all sitting a custom built tube style frame which is a lot stronger than the factory frame. They also added a brand new painless wiring harness to the truck. There are a lot of quality name brand parts on this build and it was done right. Whoever gets this truck will not be disappointed.
