EXTRA CLEAN 1988 JEEP GRAND WAGONEER FROM CALIFORNIA!! LIFTED WITH 401 V8!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is a very cool and unique vehicle. It started its life in California before going to Utah and then Georgia. Look closely at the pics to see how clean this truck is on the top-side and under-side. This jeep was built by a Jeep and Wagoneer enthusiast in Utah. He used all of the best parts for this build which we will try to detail all of them in the following description. He built this to be a reliable Overland Type Vehicle and it looks, runs, and drives excellent!!

The body on this Grand Wagoneer is exceptionally clean! There are no signs of rust or rust repair and the underside is exceptionally clean. It has had a repaint in its original color of Medium Bronze Metallic and it is a wonderful paint job. The Woodgrain looks to be original and it also in wonderful condition. All of the chrome and stainless still show great as well. The interior is excellent. It is all original except for the headliner which is newer and the carpet was replaced in the front 2 Rows. The carpet behind the rear seat is original and is excellent! You can tell this Jeep was always cared for by the interior alone. All of the gauges, lights, wipers, windows work. The only items we found not working was the horn and AC did not blow cold. The AC has been converted to R134a.

Mechanically this truck is amazing with tons of upgrades. The engine was replaced with the highly sought after AMC 401 V8 that was mildly built and we were told it had roller rockers and mild cam and all of the best parts when it was rebuilt. We did not get receipts, but this thing hauls and runs exceptional. They added an Edelbrock Aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4 Barrel Carb, Doug Thorley Try-Y Ceramic Coated Headers, Flow-Master Exhaust, Finned Aluminum Valve Cover, new alternator, new high-torque starter, new power steering pump, and new AC Compressor. The transmission is the reliable 727 Automatic that shifts nice and it is mated to the NP261 Transfer Case. $WD functions great. The front axle is a DANA 44 that was rebuilt and it has newer ball joints, seals, gears, etc. Rear Axle was also rebuilt and it is also a DANA 44. The brake system was completely gone through and it has 4-Wheel Disc Brakes with new calipers, rotors, and stainless brake lines. The front and rear driveshafts are new because of the Custom Suspension Lift with Alcan Springs, Bilstein Shocks, New Bushings, and relocated Traction Bars that were added. The steering system is also all new with a new AGR Steering Box. Tires and Wheels were also replaced.

This rig is ready to roll and is just really well thought out and quality build. No expense was spared on this build and it surely can't be done for the asking price. We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures are never touched up or photoshopped. What you see is an accurate representation of the vehicle. We take consistent pictures and show you everything so you can get a true representation of the vehicle.
