1978 FORD F150 4X4 SUPERCAB FROM IDAHO. AWESOME SURVIVOR TRUCK!!!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1978 Ford F150 SuperCab is 4WD and is a very original truck that spent almost all of it's life in Idaho. SuperCabs are very hard to find in this condition! This is basically a Survivor truck and it still looks great with the patina. The body on this truck is really nice. It is clean and straight and has most of its original paint. The paint does have Patina and the bumps and bruises (character) that a 42 year old truck would have. We found no evidence of rust or rust repair on the body and the underside is original and solid. The paint is Medium Copper and Light Chamois and it cleaned up really nice. This truck is a Custom but it does have all of the cool XLT moldings. The interior of this truck is really nice and original except for the Dash Cover, New carpet, and the seat was recovered. Everything else is original and in great condition. All of the gauges, lights, horn, wipers, heat are working.

Mechanically this F150 is excellent. It runs and drives really nice. This truck originally came with a 351M V8 and at some point a 400M V8 was installed. Unsure how many miles is on this engine, but it runs very smooth and strong. There is no smoke or other red flags. The engine appears to be mostly stock with the exception of an Aluminum Intake and Edelbrock 4 Barrel Carb. The transmission is the NP435 4 Speed manual and it is mated to the NP205 Transfer Case. 4WD works as it should. Rear Axle is the Ford 9 Inch and Front Axle is a DANA 44. They both have 3.50 Gears. This is all sitting on a newer set of 265/75/16 Tires. This is an awesome truck!
