COOL "A CODE" 1965 FORD MUSTANG GT! CLEAN AND GREAT DRIVING MUSTANG!!

This 1965 Ford Mustang is an "A Code" car that was restored 5 years ago and it has many really cool options. Based on it being an A Code, having front fog lights, front disc brakes, dual exhaust through rear valance, GT Badges, larger front sway bar, and 5 dial instrument cluster we believe it is a real GT car. The last owner had this Mustang restored around 5 years ago and it is still in great condition. The A Code specifies 289 V8 with a 4 Barrel Carb and it appears to be a real GT. He put around 3600 miles on it since it was restored. The body is a very straight and it is the original body and we believe it has all of its original body panels. We found no evidence of rust or rust repair anywhere on the body. When it was restored he had it repainted in the original color which is Arcadian Blue. They disassembled the car when it was painted and installed new door and window seals. It has all of the GT equipment and they also added the Shelby Cobra R Front Valance. The paint is nice and it is just a great looking Mustang!!! The interior was also restored and it is very nice condition as well. This car came with the Deluxe Pony Interior and it looks great! Everything was working on this Mustang when we went through it including the AC! The AC is a Vintage Air System which is modern and works better than the old style.

Mechanically this car is solid. The engine runs strong and the car drives really nice. We were told the engine is the original 289 V8, which it what this car would have come with, and it has the 4 Barrel Carb. The previous owner did have the engine rebuilt when he restored the car but we did not get the receipt. He added stainless Magnaflow exhaust and headers and the the car sounds awesome when it is running. The 4 Barrel Carb is a Holley and the car looks stock under the hood. The transmission was converted to a t5 Manual 5 Speed and it shifts really nice and is a great addition. It has an 8 Inch Rear End with 3.00 Gears and it also has Power Steering and Front Disc Brakes. All of the suspension was new when it was restored including springs, shocks, bushings. This car is ready to drive and enjoy.
