1983 JEEP CJ-7 FROM ARIZONA!!! RUST FREE, ORIGINAL, SURVIVOR!!!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1983 Jeep CJ7 is a Survivor Jeep that spent its life in Arizona. It is a rust free and very stock, unmolested Jeep. This can be used as a clean slate for a build or use it as a cool original driver as it runs and drives great!!! It is an all metal, original metal Jeep. These are very hard to come buy and we wanted to leave it exactly as we found it so we did not replace the door panels or rear seat even though they are worn and have some tears. The body is where it is at with this rig. All metal, rust free, and original paint. Really cool to find them like this. The metal is clean we found no signs of rust or rust repair. The paint is original and showing its age with patina and character. The underside is clean with no rot. Somewhere along the way someone added the aftermarket front bumper with a winch and the aftermarket rear bumper. They also added some Aluminum Rims. The Interior is pretty original with the exception of the aftermarket seats, roll cage, and console. All of the lights, horn, wipers, gauges, heat, etc are working.

Mechanically this Jeep is sound and it runs and drives really nice down the road. The engine is the 258 Inline 6 that is a favorite and very dependable. The last owner stated it was rebuilt at some point, but we do not have the receipts. It certainly appears to have been and it runs strong with no issues that we noticed. The transmission is a Borg Warner T5 (5 Speed Manual) that shifts nice and it is mated to a DANA 300 Transfer Case. The 4WD works as it should. The rear axle is the AMC 20 and the front axle is a DANA 30. They both have 3.31 Gears. This Jeep has Power Steering and Power Front Disc Brakes. It also has newer 31 Inch Goodyear tires. A side note regarding the miles: The Speedometer Cluster was swapped out and replaced. The original Cluster had 127,404 Miles Showing and it was a 6 Digit Odometer. Current Odometer started at 0 Miles and shows 14,156 miles. Total miles are 141,560.
