1973 FORD F250 HIGHBOY! RESTORED 4-5 YEARS AGO. EXCELLENT TRUCK!!

This 1973 Ford F250 Highboy is a really nice, solid truck that was frame off restored 4-5 years ago. It has been driven and enjoyed since being restored so it is well sorted. The condition is still excellent with only very minor and normal marks from driving. This was originally a Montana truck before being brought to Iowa to be restored by the last owner. The body on this truck is super straight and solid. It was disassembled when it was repainted in dark Metallic Blue and they did an excellent job on the repaint. All of the Chrome and Stainless is in great shape and all of the rubbers and weatherstripping were replaced when it was repainted. The undercarriage is clean and solid as well. The interior is also really nice with the bench Seat being recovered. It still has the original door panels and dash which is pretty cool and is a testament to the condition the truck was in when it was restored. They added an aftermarket headliner with a stereo when it was restored. All of the gauges, lights, wipers, and heat are working. The interior was removed when the truck was repainted and the metal was stripped and repainted to match the truck.....looks fantastic!

Mechanically this truck is great!! It has a rebuilt 390 V8 (when restored) that came out of a 1969 Galaxy according to the last owner. It runs really strong and smooth with no issues that we could find. They added a Holley Carb and Dual Exhaust when it was rebuilt. The transmission is the np435 4 Speed Manual that shifts nice and it is mated to the np205 Transfer case. The 4WD works as it should. Rear Axle is a Dana 60 and front Axle is a Dana 44 and they both have 4.10 Gears. This is a 73 so no power steering but it does have power brakes. It has a cool set of Hurricane Wheels with tires that have good tread. Finding a nice Highboy for a reasonable price is getting hard to do, but here is one that you can own.
