This 1986 GMC K2500 High Sierra is a really clean and straight truck that was selectively restored . What this means is that it was not a nut and bolt frame off restored truck, but it was originally a clean and straight truck that was restored where it need to be. The truck was restored to look great and be a dependable daily driver. The body on this truck is straight and really really nice. The truck's original color was Light Blue Metallic but it was re-painted in Light Blue (no metallic). It was a quality repaint done at the time of restoration 3-4 years ago. It looks like it was a complete strip down to bare metal when it was painted. Door and window seals were replaced when the truck was painted. They did leave the side moldings off to give the truck a clean look. The undercarriage is also clean and solid as you can see from the pictures on our website. The interior is also very very nice and was also redone when restored. It has a new vinyl floor, the seat was reupholstered, new dash pad, new aftermarket dakota digital gauges. This truck has a Tilt Wheel, AC and Heat. When we checked the vehicle out we found that all of the lights, gauges, heat, ac horn, wipers, etc were working.

Mechanically this truck is excellent!!! This has a new GM 350 V8 Crate engine that was put in when the truck was restored and has around 6400 miles on it. We did not get receipts but it is pretty clear this was a new engine based on what we see and it has the GM stickers on it. They added a new Edelbrock Performer Air Gap Intake, new Holley 4 Barrel Carb, headers with dual exhaust, new HEI Distributor with Electronic Ignition, new water pump, new starter, rebuilt AC system (AC works), new radiator. The engine runs excellent and is strong. The transmission is the Turbo 400 Automatic that shifts nice and it is mated to the np208 transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. It has Corporate 14 Bolt Rear End and a Corporate 10 Bolt Front End and they have 4.10 Gears. There are new shocks, new brakes, and the list goes on. It all sits on a nice set of stock wheels with newer Michelin Tires. In a nutshell, this truck is ready to roll and would make a great everyday driver or weekend cruiser.
