This 1966 Chevy K10 Short Box 4WD pickup is a rare find. We just don't see too many of this Vintage around, especially solid ones. It is a Step-Side that was selectively restored by the previous owner to be a nice driver. It is a rare, low-production truck (only 1,123 made) and it spend it's life in the Pacific NW which is why it clean and solid. The body on this truck is very nice and it was completely stripped down to bare metal and painted Charcoal Gray. It is a quality repaint that is nice for local shows, but not too nice that you would be afraid to drive it. It is definitely an above average paint job and the body and paint are straight. The underside is also clean, but unrestored, because it did not need to be restored for what this was being used for. The chrome and trim is really nice and believed to be original. The bed was redone with rough sawn oak. The interior was redone with a new seat cover and new carpet. The rest of the interior is metal and was painted when the truck was repainted. It is just a basic stock interior. All of the gauges, wipers, lights, and heat work. Horn is inop.

Mechanically this truck is stock and it runs and drives great! The engine is a Chevy 350 V8 that runs strong and smooth and looks to be mostly stock except for an Aluminum Intake and Edelbrock Carb. The transmission is the SM 420 which is a 4 Speed Manual and it is mated to a Rockwell T 221 Transfer Case. The 4WD is working as it should. It has a factory 4 Inch Lift which is stock height of the truck. It has a set of aftermarket rims with 33 Inch All Terrains on them. It has Dana 44 Axles Front and Rear with 3.92 Gears. It is a nice original drivetrain. The truck runs and drives down the road really nice and everything is tight.
