1976 INTERNATIONAL SCOUT II. RUST FREE, LIFELONG ARIZONA SCOUT!!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1976 International Scout II is a very cool rust free Scout that spent its life in Arizona. The last owner had this Scout for around 10 years and did a lot of work to it to make it a dependable desert cruiser. This Scout was mechanically restored but cosmetically was left alone and kept original. The last owner, who we purchased from, swore the miles to be original and based on the condition of the body and underside we believe this to be true. The body on this truck is incredibly clean and we found no evidence of rust or rust repair anywhere on this rig. The underside is original and has never been painted or undercoated. It is very clean as you can see from the pictures on our website. The original color of this Scout was Solar yellow and it was repainted years ago in the beige color you see now. The paint is starting to show its age with some patina but it is in overall really good condition and has a great look! The original grill, moldings and bumpers are nice and the hard top is still in great condition as well. We can't stress enough how clean this Scout is.

The interior was redone a few years and is still in really nice condition. When restored the recovered the seats, added ne carpet, new dash pad, and a new steering wheel. They also professionally installed a Full Custom Family Roll Cage and it is tied to the frame. All of the lights, heat, gauges and wipers work. The horn is not working. This Scout is a Factory AC Scout and everything for the AC is there except the Compressor. Mechanically this Scout is excellent and it runs and drives great! The 304 V8 is believed to be the original engine and it starts easily and runs strong. We were told this engine was rebuilt but we did not receive receipts. Based on everything we see and how clean the block and everything is we do believe it has been. The Carb was recently rebuilt and it has a new starter, new power steering pump and new radiator. It recently had new Dual Flowmaster exhaust installed that sounds great!! The last owner also said he had the 727 Automatic Transmission rebuilt. It shifts really nice and is mated to a resealed DANA 20 transfer case. The 4WD works as it should. The front and rear DANA 44 Axles have been resealed and they have 3.54 Gears. This Scout has Power Steering and Power Front Disc Brakes. It also has a rough Country 4 Inch Lift which was professionally installed with new springs and shocks. This all sits on a newer set of Aluminum Rims with 33 Inch Mud Terrain Tires. This rig is well sorted and ready to go.
