This 1965 Ford Mustang is a very very nice restoration that was completed around 5 years and driven very little. They did a really nice job on the restoration and the car still looks excellent and it runs and drives the same. The body is all metal and really nice....very clean and solid. The paint was professionally applied and looks excellent. It is Red, but was originally Wimbledon White. The paint is really nice and the underside is very nice an clean and well. All the chrome and stainless looks to be original and is great condition. The interior was also restored and looks close to new. Restoration included recovering seats, new carpet, new door panels, new dash...everything looks to have been restored or replaced. We found all of the lights, blinkers, radio, wipers to be working. Horn was inop.

Mechanically this car is excellent. The engine is the 200 cubic inch Straight 6 Cylinder engine and it is believed to be the original. We were told the mechanicals on this car were rebuilt when it was restored, but we do not have paperwork to prove that. We found no issues or red flags with the engine or transmission. The Mustang recently had a tune-up and the carb rebuilt. They did add dual exhaust to this car which gives it a great sound even with the 6 Cylinder. The original rear axle was replaced when restored with a Ford 8 Inch with 5 Lugs on the Wheels. It has 3.89 gears. The suspension was also upgraded to handle a V8 which is what the last owner was going to do eventually. This included new front and rear springs and new front upper and lower control arms. The car also received all new brake components when restored.
