1978 FORD F-150 SHORT BOX WITH 460 V8! OLDER RESTORATION...NICE TRUCK!!

This 1978 Ford F-150 Short Box Ranger is a 1 Family Owned Truck and we purchased it from the son of the original owner. The son got it from his father in the early 1990's, frame off restored the truck around 2010, and since that time it has been a summer toy for him. He kept the truck well maintained over the years so he could drive the truck when he wanted. He told us there is less than 10,000 miles on the vehicle since being restored. This truck was his baby and meant a lot to him since his dad purchased it brand new. The body on this truck is all steel and very nice. It was frame-off restored and painted a dark burgundy that looks really nice. It is a very solid truck and all of the chrome and stainless is also in nice condition. The bed was line-xed and when the body was off the frame he also had the the frame and undercarriage line-xed. The interior is nice and he added an aftermarket bench seat, new carpet and stereo when restored. These seats are much more comfortable than stock. The rest looks stock and is in great condition. All of the lights, blinkers, brake lights, wipers, heat are working. The horn is in-op.

Mechanically this truck runs excellent and drives great!! It has the 460 V8 Engine that was completely rebuilt and balanced (have receipt). They added an Aluminum INtake, Edelbrock Carb, and Dual Exhaust that sounds nice. The transmission is the C6 Automatic that shifts good and it is mated to the np205 transfer case. The 4WD works as it should. It has the Ford 9 Inch Rear Axle with 4.10 Gears and a Detroit Locker (Have Receipt). Front Axle is a Dana 44 with 4.10 Gears and a Detroit True Trac. It also has a 4 Inch Lift with 35 Inch BFG's on some nice Aluminum Rims. This will be a great looking and very nice Driver for the new owner.
