This 1980 International Scout Traveler is an amazing and extremely clean restored truck. Even though the restoration is older you would not be able to tell as it looks awesome! It was a professional, high dollar restoration when it was done and was always stored indoors and it has around 18,000 miles on it. The last owner actually restored Scouts for a living so you know this one was done right because it was done for himself to be used as his personal vehicle. It is an extremely nice rig and we do have some of the original paperwork, receipts, owners manual, and line ticket that will come with the vehicle. This scout also won many car show trophies early in its life. The body on this Traveler is super straight and clean. We believe it to be all original metal and found no signs of bondo or patches. The paint still looks excellent and the color is Chestnut Iridium which we believe to be its original color. The fibreglass top is also in excellent shape and the underside super nice. This Scout does have aftermarket bumpers, but the original bumpers will go with the vehicle. The interior is also in excellent shape and was also restored. It is all complete and was done to be original and stock looking. It is the Deluxe Interior and all of the lights, blinkers gauges, heat wipers are working. It had all new weatherstripping installed when restored and the entire floor is solid and was line-xed for longevity. The rear carpet is removeable in the cargo area and is also line-xed underneath.

Mechanically this Scout starts easily and runs and drives excellent!! The drivetrain was totally rebuilt when restored and we do have some of the receipts for that work. This particular Scout was originally a Diesel, but it is now powered with a 345 V8 that runs strong. It has an edelbrock 4 Barrel carb, Mallory electronic ignition, and dual exhaust that sounds great! Everything under the hood was rebuilt or replaced. The transmission is the 727 Automatic that was also rebuilt and it shifts nice. It is mated to the Dana 300 transfer case and the 4wd works like it should. It has dana 44 Axles Front and Rear with 3.54 Gears. Some other nice additions are a 30 Gallon aftermarket fuel tank and a Griffith 4 Core radiator. This Scout has a 4 Inch Rancho Lift Kit and sits on 31 Inch Tires. A great looking vehicle.
