1978 FORD F-150 SHORT BOX PICKUP!! NICE, RESTORED ARIZONA TRUCK!!!

This 1978 Ford F-150 4x4 Pickup is a Short Box and a really nice one at that. This truck came out of Arizona and was restored little by little by the last owner over an 8 year period and has been driven sparingly. This truck has a great look with an even better color scheme. This truck is a Custom but it has all of the XLT trim. We have a folder full of receipts showing around $10,000 worth of parts. The body on this F150 is in excellent shape and it is very clean and straight. It was repainted and the paint is wonderful. The original colors were Wimbledon White and Copper and it is now Wimbledon White and Red. All of the Stainless and Chrome is in great condition and the underside is in excellent condition and very clean. There are no rust issues with this truck and there never have been. The interior is also excellent They installed a new seat cover, new carpet, new headliner and new weatherstripping. the restis original and still in excellent condition!! All of the lights, blinkers, wipers, heat, AC, and horn are working. All gauges are working. This is a very very nice stock looking interior.

Mechanically this truck is excellent!! A lot of time and money has been spent on this truck to make it a reliable driver. The engine is the 400M V8 that was totally rebuilt (have receipt) and it was done to mimic a performance engine that was in Car Craft Magazine (we have the article). The engine runs really smooth and strong. It is not radical, it is just done a lot better than stock with better parts. Basically had everything replaced under the hood including starter, alternator, carb, radiator, ignition system (all new). The AC was totally redone and works great!! The transmission is the np435 4 Speed manual that shifts nice and it is mated to the np205 Transfer Case. The 4WD works like it should. The Rear End is the Ford 9" that was totally rebuilt (have receipt) and it has 3.50 Gears. The Front End is a Dana 44 with 3.50 Gears. This truck had new exhaust and new shocks installed. This truck does have the dual tanks with dual electric fuel pumps and both tanks and gauges work great! This is all sitting on a nice set of Aluminum Wheels with Falken All Terrain 285/75/16 Tires.
