1980 CHEVY K5 BLAZER. ARIZONA BLAZER WITH ORIGINAL METAL.

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1980 Chevy K5 Blazer is a Silverado and it is avery cool Blazer that spent its life in Arizona before coming to Michigan in 2014 where the last owner used it as a summer toy. It is a pretty cool build with upgrades to the interior and drivetrain, but leaving the exterior and body original. It has a great look with that old school color scheme. The body on this Balzer is very straight and clean and it is believed to have all of its original metal which is not surprising for an Arizona truck. The colors are Carmine Red & frost White and we think this Blazer may have been repainted once many years ago. Because it is a Silverado it has the Deluxe Trim Package and all of the trim is still in nice shape. The interior was redone with new front and rear seat upholstery, new headliner, new door panels, and new carpet. This rig is optioned with tilt Wheel, delay wipers and it has the factory Roll Bar in the rear. It is a very nice original style interior.

Mechanically this truck is a Beast with a built 454 V8 Engine that was totally rebuilt and balanced with a forged Rotating Assembly and a nice cam. This was all done less than 2,000 miles ago (no receipt). They also added an Edelbrock Aluminum Intake, Holley off-road Carb, Mallory Ignition, long tube headers, custom dual exhaust, new aluminum radiator, and dual electric fans. This motor is strong and runs strong. The Automatic Transmission is a Turbo 350 with a shift kit and it shifts nice. It is mated to the np205 Transfer Case and the 4WD works like it should. It has the Corporate 14 Bolt Rear Axle with a Detroit Locker and 4.11 Gears. The rear axle also has disc brakes. The Front Axle is a Dana 44 with 4.11 Gears and a locker as well. It also has new disc brakes and new lockouts. It has a very nice 6 Inch Lift Kit done right with new springs, shocks, extended steering linkage and stainless extended brake lines. This is all setting on a nice set of Billet Aluminum Wheels and a newer set of Cooper 37 Inch Tires which cost over $4,000.
