RESTORED AND VERY COOL 1983 CHEVY K30 SCOTTSDALE FLATBED 4X4 PICKUP!!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1983 Chevy K30 Scottsdale Flatbed Dually is an awesome truck!! This truck was a 1 Owner truck until 2020 by an individual in Washington who owned several Marinas and used this truck for his personal truck. The miles are believed to be original based on statements form the last owner. The original owner ordered this truck as an incomplete vehicle (Cab & Chassis) and we have the order slip. He added the flatbed and used the truck to move some boats between marinas and used it as a personal vehicle. A few years ago he restored it to its former glory and the trucks looks fantastic!! It was a selective restoration because the truck was so clean. He sold it in 2020 and we purchased from the 2nd Owner who did a mechanical restoration. We have a lot of the original paperwork from this truck. The body on this truck is excellent and needed no body work when it was restored. It is extremely straight and clean and it is a solid truck. It appears to have all of its original metal and we found no evidence of rust or rust repair on this truck. It was frame on restored because of how nice the truck was to start with. It was repainted in its original color of Carmine Red and the paint job is excellent!!! All of the chrome and trim is also in excellent condition. The custom flatbed is really nice and looks brand new. The underside on this truck is also extremely clean with no rust issues.

The cool thing about this truck is the interior is said to be the original interior and it is incredibly nice. The only flaw worth mentioning is a very small crack in the dash and that's it. Everything else looks close to new. All of the lights, gauges, horn, wipers, heat, AC, and original radio work. This truck has tilt wheel as an option. The only item not working was the Cruise.

Mechanically this truck is top notch!! The last owner spent a lot of money on the mechanicals of this truck and it shows in how it runs and drives. The engine is the original 454 V8 that was totally rebuilt based on what the last owner told us. It clearly has been rebuilt and he bored it .30 over with a forged rotating assembly, larger port heads redone and installed. It also has a mild cam, procomp aluminum intake, edelbrock carb, HEI ignition, and dual exhaust that sounds great!! The engine runs strong with no red flags. The transmission is the automatic turbo 400 that shifts nice and it is mated to the np205 transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. It has a Dana 70 Rear Axle with 4.10 Gears and a KingPin Front Axle with 4.10 Gears. All of the fluids were recently changed and it received new shocks a couple of years ago. This is all sitting on a nice set of Aluminum Wheels with 6 New Toyo Tires.

We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures are never touched up or photoshopped. What you see is an accurate representation of the vehicle. We take consistent pictures and show you everything so you can get a true representation of the vehicle.
