SUPER COOL JEEP CHEROKEE CHIEF WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION!!! CA TRUCK!!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1976 Jeep Cherokee Chief is an extremely nice, low mileage, restored vehicle that spent most of its life in California. It the resided in Colorado for the last 6-7 years where it was owned by a collector and kept at his vacation home. The Cherokee Chief is very hard to find and even harder to find in nice condition like this. The last owner did a lot of tasteful upgrades to this Jeep. It was built to be a reliable mountain cruiser and was used rarely. The body on this Cherokee is in excellent condition and is definitely one of the nicest we have had. We found no evidence of rust or patches on this rig anywhere and the undercarriage is as clean as they come. It was repainted in its original color of pewter gray and the paint is beautiful!! The bumpers are in excellent condition and were professionally re-chromed. It also has a nice step of rock slider/step bars that were installed and connected to the frame. The interior is also in excellent condition. It has new vinyl flooring, new custom door panels, and new custom rear panels. The original seats were recovered and they added a custom headliner with modern dome lights. The dash, dash bezel, and steering wheel are original and in great shape. This Chief still has the original radio but you will need to add speakers. Lights, tail lights, brake lights, and blinkers are working. The heat, horn, wipers, and gauges are working. This also has a nice Cobra CB Radio installed.

Mechanically this Jeep is awesome and it runs and drives excellent!! The engine is the original 360 V8 that was refreshed. We are unsure how deep they went with the engine refresh, but it runs strong with no issues and no red flags. They added an Edelbrock aluminum intake, edelbrock carb, HEI distributor, and custom 3" Flowmaster exhaust. The last owner had a shop and was able to get all of the smog operational but we are unable to check because Michigan has no smog requirements. The transmission is a T18 4 Speed manual that was professionally rebuilt (we have receipt) and it shifts great!! It is mated to the Dana 20 transfer case which was resealed and gone through. The 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a Dana 44 with a locker and we believe the gears are 3.73. The front axle is also a Dana 44 with 3.73 Gears and Disc Brakes. This Jeep has a really nic 6" Lift from BJ's offroad with Alcan Springs and no blocks and Rancho RS9000 shocks. They added stainless steel brake lines at that time. This all sitting on a nice set of Beadlock Rims with 33 Inch BFG All Terrain tires. This is an awesome rig!!!!
