This 1981 Ford F-150 is a short box ranger XLT that came from the Pacific NW. This is a really clean and very nice Bullnose. It is hard to find these stepside short-box Fords from this era. This truck spent its life in Washington so it has never had any rust issues. This truck was selectively restored in the last couple of years and looks great!!! The body is clean and straight and when restored it was professionally repainted in its original colors of Silver Metallic and Black. It is an excellent paint job. There are no rust issues with this truck and there never have been. The underside was left original and it is extremely clean with only some minor surface rust on the bare metal parts. All of the chrome trim and chrome bumpers are in really nice original condition. The interior is also in excellent condition!! This has the XLT trim with the deluxe door panels and dash trim. The seat was replaced with a more comfortable seat from a later model Ford and fits the truck well. It also has new carpet. The rest of the interior appears stock and original and is in excellent condition. The headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turn signals are working. The gauges, horn, heat, wipers are working. This truck does have the tilt wheel as well. It is a very very nice example of a clean and mostly original interior.

Mechanically this truck is very sound. It runs excellent and drives down the road great! The engine is the original 4.9 Liter Inline 6 Cylinder and it runs strong. It was recently checked out and was given a clean bill of health. They added a new carburetor, new alternator, new belts, gave it a tune-up, and a new fuel pump so it is ready to go. The transmission is the Ford Tremec 4 Speed Manual that shifts nice with a good clutch. It is mated to the np208 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a Ford 9" with 3.50 Gears and the front axle is a Dana 44 TTB with 3.50 Gears. This truck also recently had all new brakes installed, new ball joints and new exhaust. This is all sitting on a nice set of Ford Factory Aluminum Wheels with newer 33 Inch Cooper Discover SST Tires. Cool, rare, awesome truck!!!
