AWESOME BRICKNOSE 1988 FORD F250 WITH COOL UPGRADES! EXTRA CLEAN!!!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1988 Ford F250 is a really nice and really clean BrickNose that spent its life in the south before making its way up north. The last owner spent a lot of time and money on a selective style restoration to make this a turnkey and reliable really cool rig. Read through the description carefully to get a handle on everything that has been done. The body on this truck is in excellent condition and there is no evidence of rust or rust repair that we could find anywhere on this truck. The underside is clean and solid as you can see in the undercarriage pictures on our website. This truck was repainted in its original colors of Medium Red and Smoke and the paint is beautiful and the color combo looks great! The topper was painted to match at that time. All of the trim and the bumpers are also excellent. When it was painted the last owner added line-x stone guard to the lower rockers to protect from stone chips . There is no rust or repair on the rockers.

The interior is in beautiful shape as well and it is all stock with the exception of the aftermarket seat which was taken out of a later model Ford truck. It is a much more comfortable seat and looks stock to the truck. he also put in a new carpet kit when the seat was out. The dash, door panels, and headliner are all original and in great condition!! Headlights, talilights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. All of the gauges work, the horn works, wipers, and heat are working. This is an AC truck and the AC is complete but not blowing cold.

Mechanically this truck is top notch and has a lot of upgrades. The engine is a rebuilt 5,8L 351 windsor V8 that runs strong and has no issues that we found. It runs awesome! They added an aluminum intake when rebuilt along with HEI ignition and a FiTech Fuel Injection system. It also has a newer alternator, new starter, and a new radiator. The transmission is the ZF 5 Speed manual that shifts nice and it is mated to the Borg Warner Manual Transfer Case. The 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a Sterling 10.25 that was completely rebuilt. It has a Limited Slip Differential and 4.20 Gears. The front axle originally came with a twin i-beam suspension and it was a Dana 44. That axle was replaced with a Dana 60 which was also rebuilt and it it has 4.10 gears as well. This included new kingpins, axle joints, etc. Basically what this means is that this is now a straight axle truck like a F-350 would be. This truck has a new front drive shaft because of the lift and the steering was also all redone. This truck has a 4 Inch Lift with new front springs that was professionally installed. Some other items to note are that both the fuel tanks work and they both have new fuel pumps. It has newer Kumho All Terrain Tires size 285/75/16.
