This 1983 Jeep Cj7 Laredo is really an amazing vehicle. This is an awesome jeep that spent its life in Texas before being purchased by a collector who drove it sparingly and only in nice weather. He drove the Jeep only occasionally just keep everything lubricated and working properly. This Jeep went through a very detailed frame-on restoration in the mid 2000's and it still looks like it was completed recently. It was always kept in climate control stored indoors. We have a lot of receipts and documentation that will come with the Jeep. This Jeep is a Laredo and came highly optioned from the factory. The Laredo includes chrome grill, side moldings, chrome bumpers, emblems, chrome wheels, and leather wrapped steering wheel and handles. This also has factory AC which is working and the Auto Transmission.

The body on this CJ is excellent, rust free, and beautiful. When it was restored it was professionally repainted in its original color of Copper Brown and it had new decals installed at that time. We found no rust or rust repair on this Jeep. The underside is still all original and has not been detailed, but is very clean. All of the original chrome and stainless is still in beautiful original condition. The factory hard doors and hardtop are also still in excellent condition.

The interior is also in excellent condition and looks amazing. I would say the interior is 90% original. The dash, seats, door panels, and carpet are all still excellent!! It does have an aftermarket locking center console. The headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turn signals are all working. All of the gauges work, the heat, horn, and wipers work. Even the factory clock works. Factory AC blows cold!!! The dash is uncut, original and still in beautiful condition. This is just a great stock CJ7 interior.

Mechanically this Jeep is top notch and it runs and drives wonderful. The engine is a Remanufactured 4.2L 258 Inline 6 that runs strong with no issues or red flags. The engine has only around 30,000 miles on it and it is documented by the receipts that we have. Everything on the engine was replaced at that time. The transmission is the 904 Automatic that shifts nice. It was rebuilt when the engine was replaced and we have the receipt documenting that as well. It shifts great! It is mated to the Dana 300 transfer case and the 4WD works like its hould. The rear axle is the AMC 20 with 3.31 gears and the front axle is the Dana 30 with 3.31 gears. It has a very tasteful 2 1/2 inch skyjacker lift with Rancho Shocks and Currie Shackles. This is all sitting on a beautiful set of factory chrome rims with nice 31 Inch BFG All Terrain Tires. It does not get any better than this for a CJ7.
