1982 JEEP CJ-7. EXTRA CLEAN JEEP FROM CALIFORNIA. ALL STEEL!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1982 Jeep CJ-7 Laredo is an awesome survivor, all steel Jeep that spent its life in California. This is a really clean and original Jeep Laredo with all of the Laredo options: chrome grille, leather wrapped steering wheel, graphics, body side moldings, factory clock, and factory tach. The last owner has owned this Jeep since 1994 and maintained it with an open checkbook. We have a lot of receipts that will come with this Jeep. The body on this CJ is about as clean as they come and you can still see all of the original spot welds on it. It still has the original paint that shows some patina and is still in great condition. The color is Chestnut Brown Metallic. All of the original chrome and stainless is still very nice. The undercarriage is also about as clean as they come and it still has the original paint on the floors. The only spot we saw any issue on the paint was a couple of small bubbles starting on the window frame from stone chips. This Jeep does have a newer Best Top soft top and doors.

The interior is your normal basic Jeep interior and it is in nice condition. It has new Best Top Seats and the original dash and dash pad are really nice. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work and even the tach and factory clock are working. The heat and wipers are also working. The horn is inop. This Jeep does have the factory roll bar.

Mechanically this jeep is excellent! We have a folder full of receipts as this vehicle has been very well maintained. The engine is the original 2.5 Liter 4 Cylinder known as the iron duke because of its bulletproof reputation. The last owner stated the engine was rebuilt 6-7 years ago and was driven very little since then (we do have some of the parts receipts). Our test drive showed the engine ran smooth with plenty of power. It has a Rochester Varajet II Carb and the engine looks very stock under the hood. The transmission is the T-176 4 Speed manual that shifts nice with a strong clutch that was replaced when the engine was rebuilt (we have a receipt for the clutch). It is mated to the Dana 300 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is the AMC 20 with 3.54 gears and the front axle is the Dana 30 with 3.54 gears.

You don't find too many stock Jeeps like this anymore. We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures are never touched up or photoshopped. What you see is an accurate representation of the vehicle. We take consistent pictures and show you everything so you can get a true representation of the vehicle.
