This 2000 Mercedes-Benz SL500 Convertible is still in beautiful condition. It has had only 3 Owners in its life and the car has spent its time in the warm climates of Florida and most recently Texas. We took this car in on trade from a collector in Texas and it runs and drives amazing with no issues and we found everything to be working exactly as it should. It has the hard top with stand as well as the convertible soft top. The body and paint on this SL500 are excellent. The body has absolutely no rust and we did not even find a door ding. It will obviously have minor stone chips from over the years, but they are very hard to see. The black paint still looks beautiful and shines. The underside is also extremely clean as you can see in our undercarriage photos.

The interior is also in fabulous condition. The black leather seats look beautiful with hardly any wear and the hard top headliner is still excellent! This car has working power windows and locks, working power mirrors, working cruise, and working heat and ac. The power top works perfectly and is also in excellent condition. The horn, wipers, and heated seats also work. All of the gauges work and all of the illumination for the switches work. The dash cluster and dash are excellent as well. The Xenon headlights, taillights, brakelights, fog lights, and turn signals are all working. Just a beautiful original interior.

Mechanically this car is top notch and needs nothing that we found. recent service in 2021 included new tie rods and struts, mass air sensor, gaskets, hoses, etc. The 5.0L V8 engine runs smooth and strong with absolutely no issues and this car drives down the road awesome. The automatic transmission shifts smooth. This car is turnkey ready to roll for someone looking for a fun toy car at the fraction of $90K MSRP price.
