CLEAN 1986 CHEVY K20 SCOTTSDALE. LIFELONG CALIFORNIA TRUCK!!!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1986 Chevy K20 Scottsdale Pickup is a lifelong California truck that is a clean squarebody. It has quite a few options for being a Scottsdale including tilt, delay wipers, deluxe moldings and AC. The body on this truck is really clean and straight. It was repainted in its original color of frost white years ago and the paint is still in nice shape. It had new body moldings and a new front grille recently installed. The underside is also really clean with only the normal minor surface rust showing on the bare metal parts. We found no rust issues with this truck.

The inside of the truck is in great original condition. The bench seat was reupholstered at some point but the door panels, dash bezel, and floor mat appear to be original. The headlights, taillights, rake lights, and turn signals all work. The gauges are all working. The horn, wipers, and heat all work. The AC is not blowing cold but it is complete. It will need a new AC Compressor and belt. Overall this is a nice original interior.

Mechanically this truck is great!! The engine is the 5.7L 350 V8 that runs strong with no issues or red flags that we could find. When this truck came in the engine had a miss and we found out it had a bad valve. We sent it out to get fixed and the heads were removed and replaced and new valves, springs, and seals were installed. We also added an aluminum intake and a Holley Carb. The engine runs excellent now and we also found out that it had been rebuilt previously although we are unsure when exactly. The transmission is the Turbo 400 Automatic that was just serviced and shifts nice. It is mated to the np208 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. It has the Corporate 14 Bolt Rear End with 4.10 gears and a Limited Slip rear end. The front axle is a Corporate 10 Bolt with 4.10 gears. This is all sitting on a nice set of factory wheels with newer 265/75/16 tires.
