BEAUTIFUL, RESTORED 1967 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE WITH 289 V-8!

This 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible is a very nice car that was restored a little over 5 years ago and recently had some great upgrades done to make it an excellent driving car. We would consider this car an excellent driver and weekend car show car. The car was done very nicely and completely. We have receipts for around $8,000 for all of the recent updates in the last year. The body on this Mustang is super clean and straight. When it was originally restored they replaced the quarters and the floors and this Mustang is all steel with no bondo patches. This Mustang was originally Diamond Green but was repainted Springtime Yellow when restored. The paint is still in very nice condition but it has been driven some so there are going to be minor stone chips from driving. The chrome, moldings, and stainless are in excellent condition. The convertible top is also in excellent condition. It is a power top and it recently had the hydraulic system gone through and replaced the hoses and cylindres with all new parts. The underside is really clean and although the floors were replaced, it still has the original frame rails and torques boxes which are all solid.

The interior was also all redone when it was restored. This includes the upholstery, door panels, dash, bezel, carpet, steering wheel, emblems, etc. A really beautiful interior. They added a new Retrosound radio which does work as well. The headlights, taillights, brake lights and turn signals are all working. The turn signal indicators in the hood also work. All of the gauges work. The heat, wipers, horn, radio, and power top all work. The interior excellent and still looks fresh.

Mechanically this car is excellent and it runs and drives awesome!! It is super tight and a pleasure to drive. It was originally a 6 Cylinder car and it was repowered with a rebuilt period correct 289 V8 when it was restored. The engine runs strong and smooth with no issues that we could find. The engine appears to be all stock including a 2 Barrel Carb. They did add dual exhaust which sounds great!! The transmission is a C4 Automatic that shifts nice. It has a Ford 9" Rear Axle with 3.20 gears. The upgrades from the last year include all new front suspension including upper and lower control arms, new ball joints, front springs, new bushings, and a sway bar. They also added a Borgeson Power Steering Conversion and all new steering components. New Power Disc Brake Conversion and new rear drum brakes. New radiator, new fuel tank, new fuel lines, and a complete engine tune-up.

This Mustang has a great look with the newly added Magnum 500 wheels and new BFG Radial TA's. This is going to make a great summer cruiser for someone.
