This 1996 Chevy K3500 Silverado is a really nice and low mileage truck that sent its life in Oregon. It is a very clean original truck. We rarely see the 3500's and the 2500's are also getting very hard to find in this condition. You can tell this was not used as a work truck. The body on this 1 Ton is super clean and straight. The paint appears to be all original, except for the roof which was repainted because of clear coat issues. The colors are GM Light Stellar Blue Metallic and the original paint is still very nice. All of the moldings, trim, and chrome are still in great original condition. The underside is really clean as are the inner wheel wells...it has only the normal minor surface rust on bare metal parts.
The interior is all original and in excellent condition!! It is easy to see this truck was well taken care based on the condition of the interior alone. It even has the original factory floor mats. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. The power windows and power locks work. The horn, heat, and wipers work. The AC is complete but it is not blowing cold. It is a beautiful interior.
Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives excellent. The engine is the original 5.7L 350 Vortec V8 that is all stock and it runs strong and smooth with no issues or red flags that we could find. It has the 4L80E Automatic Transmission that shifts nice and it is mated to the np261 transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a Corporate 14 Bolt with 4.10 gears and a factory limited slip. This is all sitting on a nice set of factory Rallye Wheels a nice set of all terrain tires size 245/75/16.
