1979 INTERNATIONAL SCOUT II WITH FUEL INJECTION. AWESOME RESTORED SCOUT!!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1979 International Scout II is a clean, straight, and great looking SUV that was restored from the ground up. The Scout has only 4,630 milers on it since being restored and is still in beautiful condition. This was a no expense spared restoration. The body is excellent, all steel, clean, and straight. It was professionally repainted in its original color of Omaha Orange which is an awesome color. The paint still looks beautiful. (When it was painted the body was completely stripped and blasted.) They added custom front and rear bumpers from Super Scout Specialist and they are powder-coated. This Scout is exceptionally clean underneath and we found no rust issues with this rig. The frame was blasted and powder-coated and the tub was line-xed both on the inside and the underside. It has custom powder-coated step bars and a Full Soft Top.

The interior is your pretty basic Scout interior. It has new upholstery on the seats, the door panels have been redone, the dash was redone, and they added a custom roll bar. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are working. The gauges all work and the horn and wipers work. This was used only as a summer toy so he did not hook the heat back up to keep it cooler in the interior. We do have a large box of extra parts that come with the Scout and it has the heater parts.

Mechanically this Scout is excellent!!! Everything was either new or rebuilt and it still looks new. The engine is the 345 IH that was totally rebuilt with and added 4 Barrel intake, electronic ignition, dual exhaust, and added fuel injection from Performance Fuel Injection Systems. The engine runs strong and smooth with no issues. The transmission is the 727 Automatic that shifts nice and was also rebuilt. It is mated to the Dana 20 transfer case which was resealed. The 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a Dana 44 with 3.73 gears and the front axle is a Dana 44 with 3.73 gears and Power Disc Brakes. This Scout also has Power Steering. They added a new 4 Inch Lift Kit with all new springs, new shocks, drop pitman arm, new poly body mounts, and new brake hoses. It was also outfitted with a brand new wiring harness. This is all sitting on a nice set of new aluminum wheels (including spare) with Mickey Thompson Baja Tiures size 36 x 14.5 x 15. This is an awesome looking Scout that is ready for its new owner!!
