1976 JEEP CJ-7 FROM CALIFORNIA!! ALL STEEL JEEP!!!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1976 Jeep CJ-7 is a nice, clean, and cool CJ that spent its life in Southern California. This Jeep has a lot of cool upgrades and is ready to be used. It was mainly used as a weekend cruiser and a spotter on the trail systems for off road events. This Jeep is a multipurpose rig that is ready to go. The guy we bought it from was interested in hardcore 4 Wheeling but liked to hit the trails and spot for more radical 4-wheelers at events. There are quite a few stickers from the events he attended. The body on this Jeep is solid and all steel. he added diamond plate on the rear corners because of a spare tire mishap that damaged passenger rear corner. This Jeep was originally yellow but was painted red many years ago. The paint shined up nice but it is driver quality paint. It has aftermarket rocker guards and aftermarket rear tire carrier that will also hold Jerry Can's and a Jack. The front bumper has a winch but we do not have a controller for it to know if it works. The frame is excellent and the underside is very clean. It also has a complete soft top with soft door, a tow bar, a bikini top and half soft doors.

The interior is your typical basic CJ7 interior. It has aftermarket front and rear seats, a locking tuffy center console, and a rear storage box. There is a nice padded roll cage. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are working. The horn and wipers work. The heater core was bypassed to keep the interior cool, but all of the components are there and it should be a pretty easy hookup if someone decided to do it. He added some LED lights on the bumper and a LED light bar which are working.

Mechanically this Jeep is excellent!!!It starts easy and runs and drives great!! The engine is an AMC 304 V8 that runs strong with no issues or red flags that we could find. The engine appears totally stock and sounds great with the exhaust! It Has the 727 Automatic transmission that shifts nice and it is mated to the Dana 20 transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is the AMC 20 with 3.73 gears and a locker and the front axle is a Dana 30 with 3.73 gears and a locker. It has a 4 Inch all spring lift kit with heavy duty shackles. This is all sitting on a nice set of chrome wheels (+ spare) and it has 33 Inch BFG Mud Terrain tires. Nice CJ for a fair price!!!
