SOLID, ORIGINAL, CLEAN 1978 FORD F250 RANGER CAMPER SPECIAL FROM PACIFIC NW!!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1978 Ford F250 Ranger Camper Special is a really cool and clean truck that spent most of its life on a ranch in Montana before being purchased by the last owner who used it and titled it under his Farm in the State of Washington. The last owner had the truck repainted and went through all of the mechanicals to make sure the truck was ready to go when he needed it. The body of this truck is in great condition and it is a very clean and original body. The truck was originally all Dark Brown Metallic but was repainted to Dark Brown Metallic and Cream. The paint looks great! All of the chrome and trim is in excellent original condition. The underside is clean and solid and we found no rust issues with this truck.

The interior is also in really nice original condition. The seat was recovered and the vinyl flooring was replaced at some point but everything is else original and in nice original condition. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. The heat, wipers, and horn all work. This is basic and really nice interior as it would have been in 1978.

Mechanically this truck is excellent and runs and drives wonderful. The original engine was a 400 V8 but is was repowered with the 7.5L 460 V8 that runs strong and smooth with no issues or red flags that we could find. It has an aluminum intake and Edelbrock carb. The engine really runs nice. The transmission is the C6 Automatic that shifts nice and it is mated to the np205 transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a dana 60 with 4.10 gears and a Limited Slip. The front axle is a Dana 44 with 4.10 gears. This is all sitting on a nice set of Aluminum Wheels with and 285/75/16 tires.
