This 1986 Jeep CJ-7 is an all steel life-long California Jeep that has had a lot of maintenance and mechanical upgrades done to it to make it a reliable rig. The previous owners towed thi Jeep behind their motorhome when they went on trips so reliability was important to them. It is still a pretty original Jeep with some nice upgrades. The body on this CJ is awesome. It is very clean and straight with no rust issues. This was originally a Black Jeep but it was professionally repainted Red and they did an excellent job. The hard top was also repainted it too is nice. The aftermarket front bumper is set up to tow if you want and it has a new Reese hitch in the rear. The underside on this Jeep is exceptional and has never been painted. It is just all original.

The interior appears to be original and is still really nice. The seats, door panels , dash, carpet, and everything is just in very nice condition. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. The heat and windshield wipers work. The horn is not working. It is your typical basic Jeep interior that looks great!!

Mechanically this Jeep is excellent and it starts easy and runs and drives great! The engine is the 4.2L 258 Inline 6 that is believed to be the original motor. The last owner added Mopar Fuel Injection which is a great upgrade. It is a very clean conversion that looks factory and uses all Mopar parts. The transmission is the T4 4-Speed Manual that shifts nice and it is mated to the Dana 300 transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. It has the AMC 20 rear axle with 3.54 gears and the front axle is the Dana 30 with 3.54 gears. Other recent work includes a 2 Inch lift with Rancho Shocks, all new springs, and HD spring shackles. New Body Bushings. New Redhead steering gearbox. New Master Cylinder and new front calipers and pads. This is all sitting on a newer set of Aluminum Wheels with like new 31 Inch BFG All Terrain tires. This is a great CJ!!
