VERY COOL AND VERY CLEAN 1981 GMC HIGH SIERRA 2500 FROM THE PACIFIC NW!!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1981 GMC High Sierra 2500 is a really cool old Squarebody. This is a well cared for 2 Owner truck and the last owner's pride and joy. This is a very straight and very solid truck that spent its life in Washington. This is the High Sierra and it is 4WD. The last owner did some cool upgrades along the way. The body on this truck is in excellent condition. All panels appear to be original and they are rust free. The truck was originally 2 Tone Medium Blue and dark Blue Metallic. It was professionally painted some years ago Dark Blue Metallic and the paint still looks great! The underside is clean and solid as you can see from the photos on our website.

The interior is really nice. It has a newer custom seat with a folding center console. The seat is really comfortable. It also has newer carpet and the dash was redone and looks amazing!! The rest of the interior is original and in great condition!!! The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges work. The heat, windshield wipers, horn, and tilt wheel all work. It is a really nice interior.

Mechanically this truck is excellent!! It starts easy and runs and drives wonderful. The engine is a 7.4L 454 V8 that runs strong with no issues or red flags that we found. This truck originally had a 5.7L 350 V8. When the 454 V8 was put in it was rebuilt but we did not get the receipts. It has an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4 Barrel Carb, HEI ignition, and a nice sounding dual exhaust. The transmission is the Turbo 400 Automatic that shifts nice and it is mated to the np208 transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a Corporate 14 Bolt with 4.11 gears and a limited slip. The front axle is a Corporate 10 Bolt with 4.11 gears. This is all sitting on aluminum wheels with a nice set of all terrain tires. This would make a great everyday driving truck or just a fun weekend driver.
