AWESOME, ALL STEEL 1985 JEEP CJ-7 WITH FUEL INJECTION FROM CALIFORNIA!!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1985 Jeep CJ-7 is rust free, really clean, and very well built Jeep that spent its life in California. The last owner owned this Jeep for nearly 30 years before we acquired it. He built this Jeep to be a dependable cruiser whether on the road or off the road. It really drives awesome on road and he did not do much off roading with it. There are a lot of cool upgrades on this CJ. The body on this rig is exceptionally clean and straight. The Dark Black Cherry paint looks excellent and all of the hardware was replaced with stainless when it was repainted. It has front and rear chrome bumpers. The rear has a receiver for a hitch and the front bumper has a Warn 8,000 pound winch (it works). The underside of this Jeep is super clean and there are no rust issues that we found.

The interior is really clean and well cared for. It still has the original carpet that is in excellent condition and it is a testament to how this Jeep was cared for over the years. The front seats were replaced with Bestop aftermarkets, but the rear seat is the original. This Jeep does have the original factory roll bar. The dash is in really nice condition. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. The windshield wipers and the heater works but the horn is not working.

Mechanically this Jeep is excellent!! It runs and drives awesome!!! The spring lift setup gives it a great ride!! The engine is the 258 4.2L Inline 6 that runs strong with no issues or red flags that we could find. The engine was rebuilt but we did not receive the paperwork. The last owner states it has under 20,000 miles on the rebuild. He added Mopar Fuel Injection when it was rebuilt which is a great upgrade. It recently had a new alternator, starter, and radiator installed. It has 4 Wheel Power Disc Brakes and Power Steering. The transmission is the T5 5 Speed manual that shifts nice with a strong clutch. It is mated to the Dana 300 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is the AMC 20 with 4.56 gears and a Detroit Locker. The front axle is a Dana 30 with 4.56 gears and an ARB air locker and chrome moly axle shafts. This Jeep has a spring over with shackle reversal. It had all new springs, shocks, bushings, and stainless brake lines when it was done. This is all sitting on a nice set of aluminum wheels with 35 Inch Mickey Thompson Baja Claw tires. This Jeep is ready to cruise or for the trail.
