This 1983 Jeep CJ-7 Laredo is a really cool, all steel Jeep from New Mexico with some tasteful upgrades. It is an awesome combination of originality and modifications and it was built to be a reliable desert cruiser by the last owner. The body on this Jeep is all steel and about as clean as they come. Extremely straight, solid and rust free. The Jamaican Beige paint appears to be all original and the decals also appear to be original. The paint still looks excellent. You will be amazed at the underside of this Jeep as it is super clean and solid with no rust issues. It still has the original Laredo trim and chrome grill but it does have aftermarket front and rear bumpers.

The interior is in excellent condition. All of the seats were replaced with new BestTop seats recently and the rest of the interior is original and in excellent condition. This Jeep even has the original carpet which we rarely see. The door panels, dash, and dash pad are original and still in great condition. The headlights, taillights, brake lights and turn signals are all working. The wipers, heat, and gauges are all working. This Jeep is an AC Jeep with all the components, but the AC isn't blowing cold. The horn is also inop. A really nice basic interior that is standard on the CJ's.

Mechanically this CJ-7 is awesome and it runs and drives great. It has a newer Crate 5.7L 350 V8 engine that runs excellent and they added TunePort Fuel Injection to it for easy starts and smooth running. The engine runs really strong with no issues or red flags that we could find. It is mated to a 700R4 Automatic Transmission that shifts nice with an auxiliary transmission cooler. It has a Dana 300 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is the AMC 20 with 4.10 gears and it has an ARB Compressor that needs to be wired and an axle truss. The front axle is a Dana 30 with 4.10 gears and an axle truss. They also added a 3 inch all spring lift with new shackles, new bushings, new body bushings, and new shocks. This is all sitting on a newer set of steel wheels with 33 Inch Pro Comp Xterrain tires. This Jeep has a great look and is ready to roll.
