This 1984 Chevy K5 Blazer is the Military Edition which is a M1009 CUCV. This is a super nice and super clean rig that is ready to go. We purchased it out of Montana. As far as Military Blazers go, most are beat up and not in the greatest condition. This one is really nice. We have the paperwork from when this Blazer was purchased in 2009 from the Government. The body on this Blazer is very clean, very solid, and very straight. It was repainted with original military CARC paint with a great Camo scheme. It has the original front and rear military bumpers and the underside is really clean and has not been touched or restored.
The interior is your basic Military interior and it is still in nice condition. The seats are original and in surprisingly nice condition. The headlights work as well as the "Blackout" lights. The tail lights, brake lights, and blinkers all work. The windshield wipers, heat, and horn also work. Pretty basic setup with these trucks.
Mechanically this M1009 Blazer is excellent!! It starts easy and runs and drives wonderful!! The 6.2L Diesel engine runs strong and it is original and stock. It has the Glow Plug Saver System (GPSS) installed on it. It has the Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission that shifts nice and it is mated to the np208 transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a Corporate 10 Bolt with a factory locker and 3.08 gears. The front axle is a 10 Bolt with 3.08 gears. This is sitting on an upgraded rim and tire package which include upgraded steel wheels with 35 Inch BFG All terrain tires.
