This 2001 Ford Excursion Limited is an extremely nice, extremely clean truck that has the desired 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel Engine. This low mileage rig is definitely one of the nicest for sale and the 2 previous owners were very meticulous and babied this vehicle. It is a loaded up Limited with every option they offered in 2001. The body on this Excursion is excellent!! It is super straight and clean and everything appears original. The Black Ebony paint had full paint correction and ceramic coating around 6 months ago and it looks awesome. The lower paint color is Arizona Beige Metallic and this truck looks sharp with this combination. You will be hard pressed to find nice original black paint. All of the original chrome and trim is excellent and the underside is super clean. There are no rust issues with this rig and there never have been.

The interior is also super clean and in excellent condition. The seats, carpet, headliner, door panels, dash, and dash bezel are all beautiful. Even the original leather is in beautiful condition. All of the exterior headlights were converted to LED. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The power windows and power locks work. It has tilt wheel and working cruise control. It has working keyless entry and the rear power vent windows work. The heat and AC work both front and rear. All of the gauges work and the horn and windshield wipers work. This truck has an awesome high end stereo system that features a Kenwood deck, backup camera, and bluetooth. It also has a powered sub-woofer and all new speakers. The floors are protected with Weathertech Floor Mats.

Mechanically this Excursion is perfect. The engine is the legendary 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel that has a cold air intake, 4 Inch Exhaust, DP Tuners Tuner (very mild, but made a big difference) with a 6 position switch. It als has an Edge Monitor which is used to just monitor everything. It has newer batteries that are integrated with a trickle charger. The transmission is the 4R100 that shifts perfect and it is mated to the Borg Warner Electronic transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a Ford 10.25 with 3.73 gears and the front axle is a Dana 50 with 3.73 gears. This truck has a leveling kit which gives it a great look. It also has Goodyear rear assist airbags that can be adjusted from in the cab. This is all sitting on a custom set of Aluminum Wheels with newer Toyo Open Country tires size 285/75/17. This is the Excursion you want!!
