This 1998 1/2 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie SLT with the 5.9L 24V Diesel Engine is a beautiful example of a 2nd Gen Dodge Cummins. This truck spent its life in the State of Washington and the last owner did some cool updates and upgrades on this truck to make it a reliable rig to last a long time. He wanted to use this as a camping rig but he got sick and was never able to use it. It is an extremely nice truck! The body is in excellent condition and it is really clean and straight. The Deep Forest Hunter Green paint still looks great and it appears to be all original. The original bumpers are very nice and the bed was professionally Rhino-Lined. The underside is very very clean and we found no rust issues with this truck.

The interior is also in beautiful shape. The seats, carpet, headliner, door panels, dash, and dash bezel are all original and in excellent near mint condition!! The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. It has working power windows and locks. It has tilt wheel with working cruise control. The windshield wipers, horn, and heat all work. This truck has working AC that was just serviced and had a new AC Compressor installed. This is a very very nice example of an original interior.

Mechanically this truck is top notch!! The engine is the 5.9L 24 Valve Cummins that was replaced around 9,000 miles ago because it had the "53" Block that were known to crack and fail. It was replaced with a Jasper Crate Engine (have Receipt) and everything else was new or rebuilt. The turbo, injectors, and injection pump came new with the engine. The transmission is the 47RE Automatic that was also replaced by Jasper at the same time and has a transferable 100,000 mile Warranty. The only reason the transmission was done is because the last owner decided to do it while the engine was out. The transmission people added a nice option help extend the transmission life . It is an inverted OD switch which starts the transmission with the OD off when the vehicle is started to protect it when everything is cold. The rear axle is a Dana 70 with 4.10 gears and the front axle is a Dana 60 with 4.10 gears. This is all sitting on a nice set of aftermarket wheels with Toyo Open Country All terrain tires!

Some other nice add-ons include a FASS Lift-Pump Fuel System, upgraded Red Head steering, an Edge Tuner, a K & N Air Filter, and 4 Inch Turbo Back Stainless Steel Exhaust System that sounds awesome.
