1989 GMC SUBURBAN 1500 SLE FROM PACIFIC NORTHWEST. RUST FREE SQUAREBODY!!

Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com

This 1989 GMC Suburban SLE is a really nice, really clean, and original squarebody Suburban that spent its life in the Pacific NW. This Suburban has been well cared for and it shows. The body is really nice and very clean with no rust issues. There is a small dent on the tailgate and some minor stone chips from over the years, but this is a nice Suburban. It was repainted at some time in its original color of Light Blue Metallic. They did a nice job on the repaint and the truck looks great!! All of the chrome and trim is also in nice original condition. The underside of this Suburban is super clean solid and also rust free besides some minor surface rust on some of the bare metal parts.

The interior is excellent! The seats, carpet, headliner, and door panels are original and in excellent condition. The original dash had some cracking which is the norm for this age truck, but there is a new dash cap that was installed. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. This truck has tilt wheel and working cruise control. The power windows and power locks work. This vehicle als o has working heat and AC. It is set up with the rear Fan in the back, but the fan makes a lot of noise and binds up sometimes. Overall this is a beautiful original interior.

Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives wonderful. The engine is the 5.7L 350 TBI (Throttle Body Fuel Injected) engine that runs strong and smooth with no issues or red flags that we found. It has the 700R4 Automatic transmission that shifts nice and it is mated to the np241c transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a Corporate 10 Bolt with 3.73 gears. The front axle is a 10 Bolt with 3.73 gears. This is all sitting on a nice set of aluminum wheels with all terrain tires. These Suburbans are great vehicles because they are reliable and can be used for a lot of different things.
