This 1997 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab Short Box Pickup is a super clean and very original rust free 2 owner truck that spent its life in the Pacific NW (Oregon). This is an extremely well cared for truck and well maintained truck. This can all be verified on the clean Carfax for this truck. This truck is in excellent condition and is ready to go. The body is super clean and straight and the Light Stellar Blue Metallic paint appears to be all original. The paint still looks excellent!! All of the original chrome and moldings are also still in excellent condition. The underside of this truck is also really clean and we found no rust issues with this truck.
The interior of this Silverado is beautiful. The front seats were covered since new so they look fantastic. The carpet, dash, dash bezel, door panels, and headliner are all excellent!! The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. This truck has tilt wheel and working cruise control. It has working power windows and power locks. It has working power mirrors. The horn and windshield wipers work. It also has working heat and cold AC. An excellent example of an original interior.
Mechanically this truck is top notch. It runs and drives perfect. The engine is the original 5.7L 350 V8 that runs strong and smooth with no issues or red flags that we found. It is totally stock with exceptional maintenance history. The transmission is the 4L60E Automatic that shifts nice. It is mated to the np243 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. It has the 12 Bolt rear axle with 3.73 gears and the IFS front axle with 3.73 gears. This is all sitting on a beautiful set of factory aluminum wheels with Goodyear Wrangler tires. This truck would make a great everyday driver or just keep pampering it for a weekend truck.
